How Does It Work?
1. Capture and transmission of the information
The wireless parking sensors detect the variations in the Earth’s Magnetic field that are produced in the parking places. The data is sent to the cloud, where it is processed and determines in real time the entrance, the exit and the parking duration of the vehicle. This information is used and transmitted through Applications destined to the management of parking places and to provide information to the citizen.
2. Use of the information for the intelligent management of the parking places
For the management
The sensors information is collected in an integral management platform website, where it is related with the data received from the paying systems, the regulations and the permits of the users. It is constituted by two modules that adapt to each client’s needs:
• Control of parking: Control in real time of the payment status and the use of each parking place. It includes an application destined to the controllers where these ones receive the warnings of the infractions in real time.
• Business Intelligence: use of parking places analysis, the income generated and the efficiency in the parking management.
For the citizen
• Applications that provide the user with information in real time about the traffic, the availability of parking places and the options for public transport. They permit to plan better the route according to their needs.
• Sign posts that inform about the parking availability or accelerate the research of parking.
