Efficient Street Lighting training in Novatilu

Novatilu held a training workshop on efficient Public Lighting and Smart Lighting given by Jordi Puig, a specialist engineer in Lighting. The training addressed the key aspects of efficiency, flow reduction, consumption control and remote management explained in the new catalogue.

Puig has made a complete tour on reducing flow, whose purpose is to reduce power consumption of street lighting during the night hours of least traffic (before dawn). Reducing light intensity to the half during the six central hours of the night, global energy savings up to 35% are achieved. There are three types of reducers:

    - Double level with management line
    - Autonomous double level
    - Multinivel

As for Smart lighting and telemanagement systems, there are several products that can control parametres on, off, flow control, energy consumption and fault detection of a street lighting installation remotely. Communication between the head and the control system is made via Ethernet or GPRS.

Novatilu goes on committing to the training of its team and partners.
