The City Hall of Cardedeu replaces the street lighting with luminaires LED from NOVATILU.

Mercure vapor points of light have been replaced from the public street lighting for new LED luminaires from NOVATILU, non-contaminants. This performance will reduce to a 60% the power installed, with a total energy saving of 17500kwh and 3500€ per year. Joan Masferrer, councilor for Urban Development and Public Spaces, explains the benefits of this change as a “much more efficient Technology with less consumption, less luminous contamination and less maintenance”. After this change there is a huge energy saving besides offering a visible light spectrum much more white, clean and comfortable . the maintenance of these new NOVATILU LED luminaires is minimal and their life will be between 10 and 15 years.
