Novatilu participates in Barcelona Design Week by organising an outreach training under the title “furniture and urban environment”, that aims at focusing on design as a tool of transformation in the society and of improvement of the life quality of the people.

The event will take place on June 8th at 4 p.m. in the Design Hub of Barcelona building and will be presented by the architect and collaborator of Novatilu, Josep Maria Fort.

Josep Maria, former president of the FAD and current director of the inter-university master MBDesign (UPC-UB) will take as examples some of the most relevant products of the company to illustrate his dissertation about the relationship of these elements with their environment and how they can influence the comfort and quality of life of people.

Without any doubt, a good occasion to reflect on the latest trends in furniture design and urbanism.

Design Week of Barcelona 2017
Between June 6 and 14 will take place the12th edition of the Barcelona Design Week, an essential meeting about design, creativity and innovation in Barcelona and one of the most important design weeks on the international calendar.

The event, organised by BCD Barcelona Centro de Diseño, is a meeting point for firms, entrepreneurs and professionals in the sector, as well as an opportunity for the general public interested in design and creativity.

The BDW 2017 has about 100 activities in its program, including the parallel activities organized by entities, companies and establishments that have wanted to join this initiative and bring the design to citizens with presentations, workshops, talks, exhibitions and other events related to creativity.
